The Bavarian Health Ministry has confirmed that Germany has its first case of swine flu, saying tests showed a person in the vicinity of Regensburg had contracted the virus: Erster Fall von Schweinegrippe in Deutschland bestätigt : Reuters Deutschland Mittwoch, 29. April 2009

According to news magazine Der Spiegel there are now three confirmed cases of swine flu inside Germany. All persons visited Mexico before. First case is a 22 year old woman from Hamburg, second case a man in his thirties mentioned in the paragraph above from Regensburg and the third case a 37-year old woman from Kulmbach.
